Care on offer
I provide care for children aged 0-5 (or when they start school) from 8am - 5.30pm Monday-Friday. I follow the Early Years Framework and support children to learn through having fun and playing as they would at home. Our day typically involves a trip out in the morning, home for lunch and then naps where required or some quiet time/play before we collect the older children from school. I follow the Early Years Framework to ensure the children reach their expected developmental goals through play.
I provide a nutritious home cooked lunch everyday and snacks twice a day. If you require your child to have an evening meal you will need to provide this.
I also collect children from Peter Gladwin School, bring them home where we do arts, craft, baking and have ample toys and games for them to play with until collection. I also provide them with snacks during this time.
I have been a childminder since 2016 and in 2020 I expanded my setting and now work with my amazing assistant Hannah. Hannah has many years experience as an at home maternity nurse as well as being a mother of two children herself.
Hours of business
0800 am to 1730 pm Monday to Friday
Fees
Children aged 0-3 £5.50per hour
Extra hours for children in receipt of government funding aged 3/4 £6 per hour.
After school children £5.50 per hour

I have signed up and am able to receive government funding for 9 month olds, and 2 year olds whose parents qualify using the government website:
I also accept universal funding for 3/4 year olds as well as the extended hours for this age group. To ascertain if you qualify for the extended hours please use the above link.
These hours can be used term time only (30 hours a week) or extended across the weeks I'm open (24 hours a week).
I also accept EYPP funding for two year olds and this can be used across the whole day.
I am happy to share funding with other settings, there is preschool in my immediate vicinity that I already have an agreement with;

Qualifications

Up to date DBS
Safeguarding and child protection Certificate
Level 3 Diploma in children and Young people
Certificate in Supporting 2 yr olds in the EYFS
Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene
EYFS Teaching Diploma
Level 3 Child Psychology Diploma
Certificate in basic Makaton
Current Paediatric First Aid Qualification
SENCO level 3 Qualification
